Continuing Education Application (for Accrediting Educational Events) Individuals and Organizations may apply for Continuing Education (CE) credits for educational events. Click the icons below to purchase the appropriate CE application package, which includes:
Please note that for "Early Bird" applications, both the non-refundable payment AND completed application must be received at least 8 weeks before the event. If an "Early Bird" application is purchased at least 8 weeks in advance, but the completed application is not submitted within that same time frame, the applicant forfeits their original payment and must re-purchase the application at the Standard rate to be processed.. Please note that applications purchased less than 8 weeks away from the event date are subject to the standard fee, while those purchased 8+ weeks in advance are granted a discounted rate. All applications will be cross referenced for a completed purchase transaction. Once purchased, please submit the following to: administrator@orthopticscanada.org.
Once your application is received, the COC will evaluate the submission for Core and Non Core Credits. The COC will then provide you with a Statement of Accreditation with the number of credits the activity has been awarded. This Statement is to be included on the Proof of Attendance. Applicants are responsible for contacting their event to communicate the number of COC Credits approved for advertising purposes. Please note: ONLY if you are unable to purchase a CE application via the website and pay by credit card, please email administrator@orthopticscanada.org to process payment via a PayPal invoice for the (non-refundable) CE application fee. Once received, a copy of the CE application will be emailed to you.
